Large Victorian 2 Door Gothic Cupboard 5 shelves over 1 large drawer

  
This is our large Victorian gothic cupboard which has 4 fixed shelves (plus'base' shelf) and a very deep single drawer at the bottom, with original bun handles and it sits on its plinth. Over the years we have used it in a kitchen, a dining room and as a book case. It stores a huge amount. It is currently finished externally in Authentico chalk paint, "Nearly Black" with the shelves painted Farrow & Ball French Gray. (It's now out of store and I have touched up the paint work due to storage/where it was against the alcove in our last home). Tried to show in the last few pics. I have also re-waxed the cupboard.

The lock on the door works and comes with its key. The large drawer has its original bun handles. Each centre of the two doors has been cut/hollowed into an arch shape and had clear perspex and chicken wire applied.

It is a very attractive, solid, sturdy piece and is so useful. The overall height is 202cm. The maximum width is the top cornice at 94cm.

The base is 91cm wide. The maximum depth is 57cm at the top cornice. The main body of the cupboard is 91cm wide and 54.5cm deep. The internal measurements of the drawer are 84cm wide, 49.5cm deep and 27.5cm height. Please look at the photos carefully as they form part of the description N.

We are located in Pett Level (East Sussex) about 6 miles from Hastings on the way to Rye. Collection in person is strongly preferred as the item will not be wrapped or packaged for courier collection.
