Stunning dresser made by Ercol furniture in overall great condition. Painted in Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell Paint in Shade Elephants Breath and then waxed.

Painted in Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell Paint Shade Elephants Breath. Welcome to my listing for this Beautiful Ercol Welsh Dresser. Unlike flat pack, this is a wonderful solid piece of furniture made in solid elm wood from the furniture manufacturers of Ercol, highly regarding and of exceptional standard. Ercol blue label is displayed to the inside door of the lower cupboard. With it's beautiful ornate carvings and smooth curved elm top it's a stunning and unique piece. I have given this dresser 2 coats of first grade primer and undercoat, followed by 4 coats in shade Elephants Breath by Farrow & Ball, which is a gorgeous warm grey which suits every decor. I sanded back the dresser's beautiful solid elm top then buffed using a combination of soft waxes, which really highlights all of the natural grain and adds some depth of colour to the wood. This also helps to ensure this is protected and endurable for everyday use and provides the wood with a lovely sheen. This dresser features 2 doors and 4 large drawers to the base. The drawers are solid, spacious and run smoothly. The top drawer has a felt lined removable and sliding cutlery tray which is in great condition. Each drawer is dovetail jointed.

The internal area of each cupboard provides plenty of storage space with a fixed shelf, so plenty of options to hide all of your bits and bobs. The top of this dresser features 2 slim and slightly curved shelves, each with plate grooves.

There is a further plate groove along the back of the dresser's sanded top, so more opportunity to display your favourite plates etc. After painting, I thoroughly waxed all over with clear wax to help protect the paint from any wear and tear, although care and attention needs to be paid to a freshly painted unit.

A solid and very well-made dresser, and if collecting I will help you load. Separates into 2 sections for ease of transportation. If they're not, I will fix, sand, nail and mend until they are suitable for purpose. I spend a lot of time preparing, so that the finished article is as perfect as can be.

I always remove all fittings (handles, hinges etc), whenever possible, and mask areas for a clean finish. If I cannot repair, I will always describe any obvious flaws with as much accuracy as I can. Of course, there may well be a few tiny drips and brushmarks as I do paint every item by hand, no spray paints are used here! I try to use the original fixings, but if this is not possible, I will source good quality replacements.
